SCENARIO: Extend Reviews for Late Submissions Only

OVERVIEW

This is to show how to allow an extended review and discussion timeline for a couple of late submissions

PREREQUISITE

The late submission(s) are in the Chair Console Submissions tab

REVIEW SETTINGS

1. In ‘Review Settings’ deselect 'Allow access to reviewing data only after submitting own review.'

2. In ‘Review Settings’ deselect 'Enable all papers for discussion'

3. In ‘Review Settings’ select ‘Allow Review Update During Discussion’

4. Save the changes.

CHAIR CONSOLE

1. In the Chair Console, bulk disable Discussion for all papers:

2. Enable the new papers for Discussion.

ACTIVITY TIMELINE

1. Set 'Review Submission' activity to 'COMPLETED,' not 'Disabled.'

2. Set 'Review Discussion' activity to 'ENABLED' with a future date.

3. Save the changes.

The assigned Reviewers will be able to download, Review the submission, and participate in a discussion.
