CONFERENCE WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS
Your conference must have a LIVE, ACCESSIBLE external website.
The website must have:
- CFP
- CLEAR FUTURE DATES AND DEADLINES
- COMMITTEE
- AUTHOR GUIDELINES
- SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- WHERE TO SUBMIT
- HOW TO SUBMIT
- THE CMT ACKNOWLEDGMENT (last question in the request form)
TIPS
All the above mentioned requirements shall be EASILY found. Prospective authors should not have to dig deep to find something they need.
CFP
This is your Call For Papers with your topics/tracks clearly written.
The actual Conference Dates should be displayed on the home page and be one of the first things to see. This can also be added to the bottom of wherever the important dates are.
Important Dates
These dates should be easily seen on the home page or have its own menu/navbar.
Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines can be for author experience, registration fees, language, plagiarism notification, authors' expectations of attending, other guidelines like Springer, etc. and the like.
Submission Guidelines
These guidelines are for the paper itself. For example, formatting, abstract length, number of pages, file size, font size, how many rounds, anonymity, references, etc.
Where to Submit
Having a place holder text saying the "CMT submission link will be coming shortly" is satisfactory.
How to Submit
Here you tell the users they will need to have a CMT account before they try to submit their paper.
- Here is a link to create the account: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/docs/help/general/account-creation.html
- Here is a link for authors on how to submit a paper: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/docs/help/author/author-submission-form.html
CMT Acknowledgment
This must be put somewhere on your website. Conferences usually have this in the footer of the submission page.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Do not have any other submission links, sites or mentions in your website other than CMT. That includes emailing submissions.

Do not have a website that will give an error like 404 or server not found. Also test your sites because sometimes they come up as phishiong or malware.
Do not have your website as the homepage of your university.
Do not have your homepage as a CMT link, past, current, or future.
Do not use Facebook, social media, event sites and the like as you conference website.
